JAKARTA, Indonesia-Heavy flooding in Jakarta resulted to the death of five people, Indonesian officials said.

The government has declared a state of emergency as evacuation continues in the area.

Officials feared the current flood emergency would rival the big flood in 2007 which had left hundreds of thousands of people homeless.
