The first-ever robot wedding in the world was held in Tokyo, Japan‒ the Frois and Yukirin wedding.
The wedding of the two robots were attended by Pepper, the world’s first robot to recognize human facial expressions. There were also robot bridesmaids and even the master of ceremony was a robot too.
When the robots said “I do,” Frois, the groom, extended his metal lips to seal the deal with his new robot wife.
The ceremony was attended by their parents‒ i.e., creators. Both humans and robots were invited too. Each visitors received personalized invitation with a picture of the couple inside.
Maywa Denki, was the one who organized the wedding of the first robot couple who got married.
