PAPUA NEW GUINEA

THE US Geological Survey on Tuesday issued a tsunami warning after  magnitude 7.4 earthquake hit Papua New Guinea.

The earthquake is located 13 kilometer south of Kokopo with a depth of 50km.

Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre (PTWC)  also said that there is a possibility of a 0.3 to 1m tsunami waves along the coastal areas in Papua New Guinea located within the 300 kilometers of the quake epicenter.
