Alan Rickman, one of the most admired British actors and artist who brought the character Severus Snape in Harry Potter series died at age 69.
He was born in February 21, 1946. Rickman had been suffering from cancer.
The actor rose to global fame in 1988 when he starred as Hans Gruber in the now action classic Die Hard witch starred Bruce Willis, but it’s not until when he portrayed the cunning Professor Severus Snape in Harry Potter saga that he became popular with Filipino fans.
His family said he died “surrounded by family and friends.”
