He shows why he is the 2013-2014 season MVP.

With the Oklahoma City Thunder down 5 with less than 20 seconds left against Memphis Grizzlies of Game 2 of the first-round series, Kevin Durant delivered an improbable and clutch 4-point play.

Durant, dubbed the Slim Reaper because of his frame and lethal shooting skills, chucked up an off-balance three-point shot after receiving a pass from Teammate Russel Westbrook and made it to a 4-point play after being fouled by Grizzlies Center Marc Gasol.

It was a desperate shot but the four-time scoring champion delivered when it matters most and trimmed the deficit to one.

The Thunder later tied the game and sent it to overtime but the Grizzlies escaped with 111-105 win to even the best-of-seven series with 1-1 apiece.

But despite the loss, KD’s timeless shot wasn’t marred nor downplayed by hoops fans. It was a classic play that everyone will remember long after the result of the game is forgotten.
