MANILA, Philippines – Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers arrived in the country earlier this morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport as part of a promotional tour for electronics company Lenovo.

The 34-year-old athlete who has been here several times comes back for a one-day Lenovo Mobile promotional tour.

Bryant will first visit a Lenovo store at the Mall of Asia before proceeding to Maxims Hotel in Resorts World Manila for a press conference.

Tickets for Bryant’s appearance at Resorts World were given away for free to Lenovo smartphone users through an online promo.

Bryant last visited the Philippines in 2011 for a Nike event and exhibition games with fellow NBA players. This is his sixth visit to the country.

Chicago Bull’s Derrick Rose will also be coming for his D-Rose Tour arranged by Adidas on September 14-16 while Harden will bring along his new teammate Dwight Howard and American-Asian sensation Jeremy Lim on
October 10 for the first ever NBA pre-season game in the country at the Mall of Asia Arena against Paul George and his Indiana Pacers.
