Manila, Philippines – Supreme Court Associate Justice Mariano del Castillo is still the richest magistrate based on his 2012 statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN).

Del Castillo declared a total net worth of P109.74 million with assets worth P110, 127,634.66 and liabilities of P384, 516.38.  His asset increased by about P838, 598 compared to his 2011 SALN.

On the other hand, Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, the newly elected justice and a former dean of the UP College of Law, declared the lowest net worth with P1, 674,623.22. His liabilities are worth P659, 056.

Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno disclosed a net worth of P18, 143, 104.01 and ranked 10th among the richest justices of Supreme Court. The previous year, she registered a total net worth of P18, 029,575.51.
