The Cordillera Organization in the State of Kuwait (COSK) held its First Induction of Officers last September 14, from 11 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon at the Philippine Embassy, Block 6, Faiha. The event started with an Invocation from Ms. Nilda Dalgis, singing of the Pambansang Awit by Maricris Balangue and Welcome Address by Mr. John Annaway.

The History of the group was shared by Mr. Cleyton McKellay. The Officers were inducted by Hon. David Des Dicang, Labor Attache, who was also the Keynote Speaker. Intermission numbers by Ms. Josie Montes and company, and Ms. Zords Lucaben, delighted the guests. Showcasing tribal folk songs and dances genuinely inherent to Cordillerans in the Philippines, everyone showed interest with the presentation.

The Closing Remarks was given by Mr. Freddie Tayoan and the emcees were Ms. Salinah Andawey and Ms. Jensen Cuyopan while Mr. Tony Andres and Blandz Guzman served as Documentation Coordinators.

A sumptuous lunch awaited guests and friends of the organization, mostly Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Filipino expatriates alike.
