MANILA, Philippines –Television sets were installed at all Philippine Overseas Employment Administration offices nationwide, a GMA7 official said on Thursday.
As this developed, a Memorandum of Agreement between the country’s premier news company GMA Network and the POEA was sealed recently that is said to be providing a quality entertainment and responsible news delivery to all Filipinos, particularly the Overseas workers.
Following the MOA signing was the “switch on” of the installation of television units to all POEA offices nationwide courtesy of GMA7.
It is said that the signing of the MOA between the broadcast giant GMA Network and the POEA, the local government agency that promotes and monitors overseas employment of the country’s labor expatriates, will give the POEA clients easy accessibility to view news updates and current events in the country.
The partnership also aims to provide overseas Filipino workers in POEA offices with access to quality entertainment and the responsible news delivery through GMA programs.

Meanwhile, an OFW in one of the POEA office in Manila welcomed the donation of TV sets saying this could be of great help to all that has transaction in the POEA, especially in those times that the office is jam packed with clients waiting for their turn.
