Manila, Philippines – Nearing Aurora and moving north-west with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and at a speed of 15 kph, tropical depression Nando will still be within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) until Thursday.

As of Monday, Signal No. 1 is raised in Batanes, Cagayan, Babuyan  and Calayan group of islands with 60kph winds expected within 36 hours.

Meanwhile, Bicol Region, Calabarzon and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with thunderstorms and moderate rain showers.

On the other hand, Metro manila, Quirino provinces, Visayas, Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya, the rest of Central Luzon, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga and Northern Mindanao will also have cloudy skies, thunderstorms and light to moderate rainshowers.

PAGASA said that tropical depression Nando is apprehended not to landfall but will cause moderate to occasionally rough coastal waters in the country.
