MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced a low pressure area progressing east of Southern Mindanao.

According to PAGASA, they spotted the said LPA about 4:00 AM 1, 120 east of Southern Mindanao, which brings cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms in the regions of Caraga, Davao and Soccsksargen.

PAGASA’s warning, the rains could trigger landslides in the affected areas of the country.

“Eastern Visayas and the rest of Mindanao and will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms.”
Cagayan Valley, MiMaRoPa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) and Aurora provinces and Quezon will be cloudy with light rains.

“Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with blowing from the northeast.”
