THE LIBERAL PARTY is already rolling out its “Plan B” by giving up its presidential standard-bearer Mar Roxas to ensure Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo the vice presidency and to replace Davao city mayor Rodrigo Duterte through an impeachment if he would become president, according to Senator and vice presidential forerunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Citing his “friends” in the Liberal Party, Marcos said that “Plan B” is LP’s way of cheating and manipulating votes on Monday’s national elections.
Benigno Aquino III] Noynoy,” Marcos said.
Marcos referred to the impeachment plan of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV after the the latter initially filed plunder case against Duterte before the Office of the Ombudsman last week.
“We’ve already seen the complaint filed against Duterte. So, yan ang parang set, pagkatapos ng eleksyon itutuloy na para pabagsakin si Duterte at para e protect si Noynoy at ibang nasangkot sa katiwalian nila,” Marcos said.
“I don’t know if this is official Liberal Party plan, but for sure may mga Liberal na ganito ang iniisip. I don’t know who they are but this is the news we are getting from our friends in the Liberal Party,” added Marcos.
However Marcos said that LP’s efforts are understandable, saying “they are now afraid that they will be thrown to jail.”
This is clear act of desperation, he said.
Marcos also disclosed that LP is attacking the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) to divide its votes, this after LP lost its endorsement from the 2.25 million strong members of the religious sect which is known for its bloc voting.
“This cheating, this trending, this Plan B, this is because they know they are answerable, and if truth comes out they will go to jail.”
Meanwhile, Marcos urged the public to guard their votes on Monday, saying that “what should prevail is what the people want and not what the LP wants.”
