After he was reported to be missing, Jiro Manio was recently found wandering inside Ninoy Aquino International Airport III (NAIA III) for four days already and has been living through the help of the airport staff.
The former child star has been soaring great heights in his career before he was ruined by drug addiction.

At the early age of 9, Jiro already started his first milestone in his acting career. He won Best Child Performer during the Metro Manila Film Festival last 2001 for the film Bagong Buwan alongside Cesar Montano and Jericho Rosales.
After the release of the indie film Magnifico in 2003, Jiro rose to fame in the acting field. He won 3 awards in 2004 for his lead role in the movie: Best Child Actor- FAMAS Award, Best Actor- Gawad Urian Award, and Best Actor- FAP Awards. Magnifico is also a multi-awarded film that gained international acclaim in major international film festivals with 31 wins and 11 nominations. In 2011, the Gawad Urian Awards declared Magnifico as the Best Film of the Decade.
Jiro was nominated for Best Actor and Supporting Actor of the Year during the Gawad Urian Awards and PMPC Star Awards for Movies, respectively, for the film Foster Child. He had another nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Tambolista during the Gawad Urian Awards.
Jiro also appeared in numerous Blockbuster movies such as Ang Tanging Ina Ninyong Lahat where he played the role of Shammy and played a few roles in some television shows.
His last appearance on TV was in a 2013 reality show “I Dare You” where he accepted the challenge in the aim to win scholarships for his two children whom he fathered when he was only 15.
