“Pagbati Pangulong Aquino … Ilang beses na po namin sinasabi sa inyo na maraming gipit dahil puro dayuhan ang nakikinabang dito sa ating bansa at maraming corporate greed lalo na yung pamilyang Cojuangco … nang dahil sa inyo mas lalong dumami ang mahihirap at sa ganitong sitwasyon,” the hackers said in a message left in the website.

The defaced website of Manor Hotel Davao was still live as of 4:30a.m., Monday, April 1.

The “xL3gi0n” hackers claimed more Filipinos had become poor under Aquino’s watch and many corporations were owned by greed people. The group also warned Aquino that they would be watching him, and threatened to oust him.

The group’s logo bore similarities to the Guy Fawkes mask used by the hacktivist group Anonymous-Philippines.

The Malacanang was still not made any comment on the recent hacker’s attack as of press time.
