MANILA-The Philippines has four contenders in this year’s ‘Asia’s Got Talent” aired over AXN channel, sending everyone to their feet as its verdict will be announced on Thursday evening.
Four Filipino acts of the top-rating talent show are dance group Junior New System, shadow play troupe El Gamma Penumbra , and singers Gerphil Flores and Gwyneth Dorado.
There are nine grand finalists in the competition vying for US$100,000 and a chance to perform at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
Judging them are renowned record producer and award-winning musician David Foster, Indonesian rock icon Anggun, Taiwanese actor and musician Van Ness Wu, and British singer-composer Melanie C.
Hosts are Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez.
Dubbed as the biggest talent competition in the world, the show gathered hundreds of performers from 14 countries across Asia.
