THE Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed the death sentence of overseas Filipino worker Jennifer Dalquez in United Arab Emirates.
Sentenced to death in UAE for stabbing her employer last December 12, 2014, the 28-year old OFW maintained she is innocent.
Rajima, Jennifer’s mother, said she learned about the sentencing last Wednesday.
In her media interviews, Rajima, recounting the phone conversation with her daughter, said it was Jennifer’s employer who pointed a knife to her daughter first and attempted to rape her.
Jennifer, who came from General Santos city, has been working in UAE in 2011.
According to DFA, they are going to appeal the case of Jennifer.
