TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines— The 19 masterpieces of 11 visual artists with modern minds from across Eastern Visayas were showcased in an art exhibition on Friday at the Café Lucia, Rotary Building, Tacloban City.
The 4th visual art display entitled “Huring”, which means new hope for young visual artists, showcases the best new art, new techniques and styles produced by artists fizzing with energy and ideas.
Huring is a visual art attraction in which local artists are dedicated in promoting the arts and culture of Eastern Visayas.
Featured were the works of Dante Enage, Archimedes Prisno, Apyong Nebrija and Tata de la Cruz.
Also shown in the exhibit were the creations of young artists.
Palo Vice Mayor Ronnan Christian “Bolingling” Reposar and patron of art, Dulce Cuna, joined art enthusiasts who participated in the opening of the exhibit.
