Stunning Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman surprised television host Jimmy Fallon when she revealed that he once blew his chance to date her.
The 47-year-old Oscar-winning beauty, who appeared on NBC’s The Tonight Show to promote her movie, Paddington, said that she dropped by Fallon’s apartment years ago after being set-up by a mutual friend.
“I just remember I really liked you,” Kidman said during the interview.
“Wait, what?!” Fallon, 40, asked.
The actress then explained that she was single that time and was romantically interested in the comedian.
“What are you talking about?” he responded. “Did I date Nicole Kidman?”
Kidman further said that he ignored her to play video games after serving cheese with saltine crackers.
“And you wouldn’t talk,” Kidman said of Fallon. “You wouldn’t say anything, and then you put a video game on or something … and so after about an hour and a half, I thought, ‘He has no interest, this is so embarrassing … and then I was like, ‘Maybe he’s gay.'”
Fallon showed gloriously funny reactions upon realizing how he blew his chance to date the beautiful actress and what could have developed between the two of them.
He, however, appeared that he didn’t know it was a date. He thought it was just a mere talk for a possible movie role.
“I’m walking down the street in New York City, and my friend Rick calls me and says, ‘Dude what are you doing?’…He goes, ‘I have Nicole Kidman with me and she wants to meet you to be in Bewitched or something. I can be in your apartment in like 10 minutes.’ I go, ‘You’re going to bring Nicole Kidman over to my apartment? OK. What do I do?’ He goes, ‘I don’t know. Just get some cheese and crackers or something.’ I’m like, ‘Cheese and crackers? What are you talking about?'” Fallon recalled. “I don’t have dinner parties. I don’t have anyone over to my house. I’m like, ‘I have video games and sneakers.'”
Fallon is now married to Nancy Juvonen while Kidman is wed to country music singer Keith Urban.
