Some people just don’t deserve to have a driver’s license.
A 7-minute Facebook video showing a driver provoking other motorists on the road stirred rage and anger from netizens. It appeared to be a tutorial on how to “handle” city traffic in a rather compromising and dangerous way.
The driver, identified as Tito Cosejo Jr., can be seen chasing and racing other vehicles in a busy road. He is apparently showing his skills of not letting other drivers get ahead of him, which he called the “beast mode.”
On the latter part of the video, Cosejo hit the side mirror of another car, whose owner went on to confront his reckless driving. However, Cosejo and his friend(s) on board, who seems to be taking the video, did not apologized but instead ridiculed and mocked the motorist before driving off.
As of this posting, the video has 4, 416 likes and 16, 488 shares. It also received negative feedback from netizens.
After the video went viral in social media, Cosejo sent an appeal to Top Gear Philippines, it reads:
Salamat, kapatid. Sana po matulungan niyo ako.”
His wife, Diana Laserna Cosejo, also appealed to the public and extended their apologies. Her message was posted to her Facebook account:
Top Gear however called the appeal “based on a lie.” Here’s their take on the couple’s apology:
Top Gear was on point with this issue. Cosejo needs to pay the price of his reckless driving that put the lives of other motorists at stake. Authorities also need to make an action on this to ensure that it will not happen again for the sake of the whole motoring public.
