Newbie network TV5 nicknamed as the Kapatid network was honored during the 48th Annual Anvil Awards held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

The network took home 3 Anvil Awards from Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), emphasizing on the network’s excellence in public relations (PR) and communications for the following campaigns: #AskMsWorldPH (under the PR Tools – Social Media Campaign category), InterAksyon: The TV5 Online News Portal (under PR Tools – Website Design category) and lastly, Rescue5 (under the PR Programs directed at Specific Stakeholders/Special Interest Groups category).

Being the most recent network to go against the network giants (ABS-CBN & GMA) that had been in the industry for decades, Anvil Awards definitely mark milestones of the network.

For TV5’s InerAksyon, this year’s win is the second time for the show to bag an award of excellence.

TV5 sent their vice president for New Media Sheila Paul, public service head Sherryl Yao, the InterAksyon team led by editor-in-chief Roby Alampay and head of corporate public relations Peachy Vibal Guioguio to represent the TV network and accept the awards.

As any award giving body is focused on a certain category, the Anvil Awards symbolize excellence and quality in the field of public relations.

Entries are annually screened painstakingly by a panel of distinguished communication experts from different industries.
