Manila – Technical Education and Skills Development Authority or TESDA has long been offering short courses and certification programs to Filipinos who wanted to gain knowledge and learn new skills for a much lesser fee.

In 2016, TESDA is offering more than 45 online courses for free. Technical education and skills development has become more accessible to Filipinos especially for those who have less time to really visit the TESDA centers and its partner schools to attend classes. If you want to upgrade your skills then the TESDA online courses is the way to go. You can now take up a TESDA course during your free time as long as you have a computer and an internet connection.

Take note that there will be no Certificate of Training that will be provided once you finish the online course. You can earn the National Certificate when you take an assessment test at the nearest TESDA center in your area. You must pass the assessment test to get your National Certificate.

TESDA Online Program

Going back to the online course, if you want to enroll in one of the online courses, open and follow the instructions on how to create an account. Make sure to fill out the form with correct information. An email will be send to you containing a link that you’ll be using to activate your account.


Once you have an account, you can choose any of the TESDA online courses being offered. Once you’ve chosen a course, you’ll see that most (if not all) of the courses are divided into modules. Click the first module on the list to enroll yourself in the course.
