BURAUEN, Leyte – Fans of Siakol and Haganas, rejoice! Come December 07, 2012, these two premiere rock bands in the country will join forces for a benefit concert at the Burauen Community Center, in Burauen, Leyte.

Formed in the 90s, Siakol is composed of Noel Palomo (vocals), Miniong Cervantes (guitar), Wowie Flores (bass) and James Rodriguez (drums). The band is known for their hits Lakas-Tama, Peksman, Balewala, Inday, Sige na Tuloy pa, Manubela, and many more.

Haganas, who hails from Burauen, is composed of Rocky Sablawon (vocals), Joel Agustin (guitar), Dale Sarcilla (drums) and Mitchelle Nuevarez (bass). Their album Mga Kwento ni Caloy include the hits like Love kita Noon, Bungangera, and Batang Kalye.

Joining also are Tacloban-based musicians and rap artists from Pockit Rockit, courtesy of Ryan and Niña Cerdiña of Stereo Sushi/Patik Tattoo Studio.

Proceeds of the concert will go to the Burauen Immaculate Conception Church and CFC Singles for Christ, Burauen Leyte Chapter.
