The Malacañang describes the performance of LP standard-bearer Mar Roxas to be “slow but sure,” during the most recent Pulse Asia survey.
“The race has tightened,” said undersecretary Manuez Quezon III during an interview with DZRB. “Dikit-dikit po lahat. In fact, no one can really be said is in a major lead because dikit nga nung dipersensya nung iba’t ibang mga kandidato. So this tells us that people are really thinking hard about their choices.”
In the lasts Pulse Asia survey results, Roxas placed 3rd at 21%, while Grace Poe still is in the lead with 26% and Jejomar Binay at 25%.
Quezon also added that Roxas’ poll ratings have been steadily increasing, while those of his rivals have been going up and down as the time goes by.
“So as the campaign goes on,” he continued. “Ang siguro dito malaki ang epekto ng mga debate, dahil nakikita sa debate sino ang may sasustansyang sagot. Doon natin makikita na doon talaga mapapaisip an gating mga kababayan at magde-decide sila ayon nga sa alin ba ang masustansya at talagang may sagot sa lahat ng tanong sa isipan natin. Alin ba yung entertainment lamang, or walang masyadong nagba-back sa knailang sinasabi.”
