MANILA, Philippines- As of early Friday, the number of death caused by the tropical depression Quinta rose to 11 while two were still missing according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
Based on the report, five of the casualties are from Iloilo, four in Samar, and the two are separately from Leyte and Capiz.
As of now,2,000 families are still in evacuation centers after the typhoon hit mostly of the Visayas regions. Overall, around 5,000 families or 28, 000 people have been affected by the calamity.
Quinta, which has the international name ‘Wukong’, has later weakened into a low pressure area.
