During the police operations in region 8 from September 17 to September 24, PNP already arrested 270 wanted persons in just 7 days.

Out of the 270 persons arrested, 37 cases are theft, 32 cases are murder, 29 cases are homicide, 18 cases are rape, 13 cases are robbery, 11 cases are physical injury and 130 cases are violation in special laws and non-index crimes.

10 out of 20 that were arrested are most wanted in the City and Municipal level.

According to PNP Regional Director PCSupt. Gilberto Cruz, these wanted persons should not be seen roaming around the region and should be arrested immediately.

6 Police Provincial Offices and 2 City Police Offices are having an intensified arrest for the people who still have pending cases.

The Police Regional Office is still continuing their operations because there are still more than 2000 people who have a standing warrant of arrest.
