It has been 21 days, and people from all over have been looking for him. He went missing, and he was missed. But just last night, Ian Jasper Calalang has found his way back home.
According to a report by the Philippine Collegian, Calalang, a freshman student at the University of the Philippine Diliman, has returned home. The report was confirmed by his mother, saying that her son came at their residence in Cainta, Rizal, around 11 PM on Monday.
Earlier in January, Calalang went missing after leaving their home to pursue his enrolment at the UP Campus in Quezon City. It was said that he was able to text his parent that he was already at the university, but it was soon found out that he was not able to enrol.
Friends, family, and netizens soon started campaigns to look for him by sharing his photo across social media networks.
The report also said that after the confirmation that Calalang has returned home, his family declined to share the details on what happened to him for those days he went missing.
