“ We’re having this phase by phase as to the needs of the consumers. As of now we’ve prepared seven deep wells in the city. We have already located three feasible water sources and a dam construction is also being set.”

After the initial stage at V and G, the water company will be opening all its services in the entire city to serve its more than 40,000 consumers particularly in the upland areas.

“ We intent to finish the project as fast as we can as we’ve felt the need of this growing city. We are also thanking mayor Alfred Romualdez for giving us the opportunity to invest in the city,” Engr. Tolentino added.

The company assures that theirs will be more affordable without sacrificing the water quality compared to one existing water company serving Tacloban since the 70’s.

“We don’t want to think of competition. We just want to help Tacloban to have more water, it’s up to the people saan sila kukuha ng tubig. The can have both if they want, too, ” also said Engr. Emmanuel Casal, city consultant.

With its more than 16 years delivering quality bulk water in Cebu and serving Palawan, Iloilo and other parts of the country, Mactan Rock maintains their presence in the city can help not only the local consumers but also other incoming big businesses in the area.
