A dreadful road accident involving two buses and a private vehicle happened on northbound lane of EDSA Project 7 that slowed traffic in a part of Quezon City Thursday morning.
The multi-vehicle mishap involved two buses that pinned a sedan, appeared to be a Toyota Vios.
In the photos, it can be seen that a Dela Rosa Transit bus rammed and crushed the car beneath it. The sedan was then pinned when it hit the rear of another bus in front of it.
Local media reported that the Vios driver has been rescued from the wrecked car and was immediately brought to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Top Gear Philippines revealed that the “Vios has a conduction number of YL-1942, with a medical doctor’s badge attached to the license plate holder.”
As of press time, no information has been posted yet about the identification of the driver and if he/she survived.
The dzBB reported that the “Dela Rosa Transit (8806) bus’ momentum caused it to hit and roll over the rear part of Toyota vehicle in front of it.”
The said bus also sustained damages.
