A photographer is getting a lot of attention after a photo she snapped in a dressing room went viral.
Rachel Taylor says she was shopping at Old Navy when she overheard a hurtful conversation about plus-size clothing.
According to her, a teenage girl and her mom is also shopping at the said store when the girl picked up a plus-size tank top, showed it to her mom and said, ‘Look! Me and So-and-so can fit in this tank top!’ Taylor who is standing behind them heard the mom laughed and said, ‘Yeah, you could! That thing is huge.
After hearing the conversation, Rachel Taylor cried and I ended up buying that tank top because, it turns out that she looks fierce in it.
“Be kind. Think about others before you speak. And if someone hurts you, you have to move on.” Taylor said in his Instagram post.
Taylors’ photo wearing the Navy tank top went viral and garnered likes over 86,000 times and shared 2,400 times on Old Navy’s Facebook Page.
However, there is no fun in the social network without bashers. Taylor defended herself on Facebook, saying that her posting was not an invitation to be criticized or an attempt to receive free merchandise. She merely wanted to share her story with Old Navy because she love her new top and appreciate them having cute clothes in all sizes.
Because of Taylors’ courageous doing by standing up for the women’s, old navy has given her a treat by sending her a gift card.
