CEBU, Philippines – Following the arrest of 3 more Koreans allegedly involved in the series of Starex van theft, operatives of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 are hot on the trail of a car napping syndicate in Cebu.
Casuntingan Police Station nabbed the 3 Koreans near a car shop that held the alleged car napped vehicles.
Koreans’ names were not yet revealed by the press as of yesterday.
They were arrested after the apprehension of 2 other Koreans and one Cebuano, suspected to be members of carnapping syndicate. The 2 Koreans were identified as South Koreans Kim Jae Young, 42, who is also known as Leo Lim and Andy, and Hong Seo Yong, 32, a.k.a Luis.
Their Filipino companion goes by the name Raphael “Rap-rap” Montilla, 28, a registered nurse.
