Reports say that singer-songwriter Taylor Swift was sued for not returning a $2.5 million cash advance for a concert in Canada.
Swift did not re-schedule any performance after the show got canceled.
The lawsuit was reportedly filed in a New York federal court by Florida-based ticket company FIRE USA, Inc.
Company needs to issue a total of $1.8 million refund to ticket holders.
US TV Show TMZ reports that Swift was supposed to perform at a country music concert in Ottawa, August 2012.
The said event did not push through but she reportedly kept the money.
According to the singer-songwriter’s representative, Swift never made a deal with the ticket company, this could only mean that this case may take some time to get resolved.
