Los Angeles, USA – November 18, 2012 was one of the biggest and most awaited night for the music industry, as countless singers and celebrities in Hollywood gathered to celebrate the crème de la crème in music, at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles for the 2012 American Music Awards

The awards gala was live and, as was to be expected, was jam packed with awesome live performances, touching moments and plenty of acceptance-touchy-full of humor-speeches.

Justin Bieber, the biggest pop star of the moment who has a million fans across the globe and won several awards, topped billboard charts, was the biggest winner of the night, took home no less than 3 awards in different categories.

Justin Bieber won Artist of the Year, Favorite Pop/Rock Male artist and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. For his final win, he invited his mother Pattie Malette on stage with him, which shouldn’t really surprise fans that much since it’s a known fact he and former girlfriend Selena Gomez already broke up.

Famous rapper Nicki Minaj, who also performed with Justin Bieber sometime during the awards show, also won big, taking home 2 statuettes -Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album.

Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin’s protégée and also an Internet star, Taylor Swift, Linkin Park, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Usher and Maroon 5 did not leave empty-handed either, winning awards in various other categories.

Performers included Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, Psy, Pink, The Wanted and Ke$ha: as noted above, it was definitely a night to remember, packed with extraordinary moments.
